Give

Thank you for considering giving to BP Church. Your generosity helps support the work God is doing here and abroad.

You can mail a check to our address, or give online using a credit card or ACH bank transfer. BP Church is registered in Washington State (UBI 601 143 087) and is a federal 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 91-1239116). Your gifts are tax-deductible.

  1. If you do not yet have an account, you'll be prompted to create one

  2. You can make a one-time gift, or set up recurring donations (such as monthly)

  3. Please keep track of your account login and password so you can check on giving and/or make changes in the future

Note: Online gifts incur processing fees: Visa/Mastercard: 2.2% + $0.30 per donation; American Express: 3.5% per transaction; ACH: $0.25 per transaction. We plan for banking fees in our budget, but want you know what portion of your donations are received. You always receive full credit for the amount you give on your end-of-year contribution statements.

You can help reduce processing fees while still enjoying the convenience of online giving:

  1. Choose ACH (bank transfer). ACH fees are significantly lower than credit or debit card fees, allowing more of your gift to support the church's ministry.

  2. Consider making one or two larger donations each month instead of weekly gifts to reduce per-transaction fees.

FAQs

How do I view my giving history, access giving statements, and keep track of my giving methods?

Sign-in to your ChurchTrac account and select "giving" on the left-hand menu.

How is my donation allocated?

There are two permanent designated funds: Ministry Fund and Building Fund.

The Ministry Fund, aka our annual budget, is approved by our members each November to direct how donations are spent. Ten percent of our ministry fund goes to missions.

The Building Fund is designated exclusively for new construction and major capital improvement projects. With oversight from the Elders and Finance Team, our Building Team provides guidance on the management of these funds and the prioritization of project expenditures. During active construction, every dollar given to the Building Fund is applied directly to the next priority expenditure, helping move the project toward completion.

From time to time, we also establish temporary designated funds for specific projects or events. Once the purpose of a temporary fund has been fulfilled, any remaining or unused funds are transferred to the Ministry Fund.

All donations must support the ministry of the church and are under its control.

When do you mail annual contribution statements?

We mail annual contribution statements around the third week of January each year. Please contact the office if you would like a statement sent by email.
